Silly Little Birds

Silly little birds...
They forgot to fly down south, before Winter
and now they are falling down with leaves
realizing that it will be a long time until Spring...
... At least North Wind will have some fun.
Silly little birds.

18th Croatian Children's Festival _ 20/11/2011

As i said before I am this year's Croatian Children's Festival artist patron
Yesterday I was a witness of children's magical splendor! :D They dance,
sing, write and paint - and they do that so beautifully light and true.
Little people are really purest essence of humandkind...

“Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again.
And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is
the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them:
Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed,
there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, the way you move.
You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything.
Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel?
You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children.” — Pablo Picasso

Fog Days

London?
No... Zagreb these days.
I still haven't decided how I feel about it.
In some strange way I find it interesting.

IF. Live curious.

If Anthem
If you are you breathe. If you breathe you talk. If you talk if you ask. If you ask you think.
If you think you search. If you search you experience.  If you experience you learn.
If you learn you grow. If you grow you wish. If you wish you find. And if you find you doubt.
If you doubt you question. If you question you understand and if you understand you know.
If you know you want to know more. If you want to know more you are alive.

North Wind

North Wind, my dearest wind and my old friend... In time when I was living in my home town,
by the coast, he was regular visitor. But now when I live in Zagreb I don't see him that
much any more... And i do miss him. He would know how to deal with this unpleasant Zagreb's fog.  >:-/

...The northwest wind comes and the yellow is torn full of holes,
new beautiful things come in the first spit of snow on the northwest wind,
and the old things go, not one lasts.

History of Creation by Mr. Ernst Haeckel

Ernst Heinrich Philipp August Haeckel (February 16, 1834 – August 9, 1919),
also written von Haeckel, was an eminent German biologist, naturalist, philosopher, physician, professor
and artist who discovered, described and named thousands of new species, mapped a genealogical tree
relating all life forms, and coined many terms in biology, including anthropogeny, ecology, phylum, phylogeny,
stem cell, and the kingdom Protista.
One of Haeckel's books did a great deal to explain  "Darwinism" to the world. It was a bestselling,
provocatively illustrated book in German, titled Natürliche Schöpfungsgeschichte, published in Berlin in 1868,
and translated into English as The History of Creation in 1876. It was frequently reprinted until 1926.
